The Heart Behind the Bakes
Born and brought up in Haryana, Richa grew up in a close-knit family where food brought people together. Weekend gatherings and the joy of hosting nurtured her love for making people feel at home.
Her journey into baking began with her daughter and her friends. Having grown up watching her mother and Mausi bake delicious cakes with atta, never maida, Richa developed an early appreciation for wholesome, homemade treats. When she began baking for her own daughter, she was determined to carry that tradition forward, using whole wheat flour and carefully chosen, premium-quality ingredients, without maida or artificial additives.
With a background in science, Richa found herself drawn to the precision and creativity of baking. What started as a mother’s desire to create better treats soon blossomed into a passion. Eager to refine her skills, she attended baking classes and continued learning under the guidance of some wonderful bakers, perfecting her craft one bake at a time.
Eventually, what brought her comfort and joy became something she wanted to share with others.
And so, Fait Maison by Richa was born — a reflection of her belief that thoughtful ingredients, a little creativity, and a whole lot of heart can make every bake special.
